It comes complete with it’s original BELL stamped peak. It had it’s British Standard safety sticker and also it’s ACU competition approval sticker. The last owner rode a BSA Gold Star and he has put a transfer on both sides. The strap looks to be in good order. The white shell has a high gloss finish, the peak, BELL badge on the front and the ACU sticker are yellowed with age and the BSA GOLD STAR transfer is not perfect but in my opinion this is good news as it gives the helmet a beautiful aged patina and people will be able to tell you have a genuine vintage helmet and not a brand new one! The foam lining has disintegrated with age and would need replacing and you could also add a leather lining to make this a truly stunning old helmet. Because it has no foam padding left it could be made to fit any head size by adding the correct amount of foam padding to suit your head size. I have a large head and it still has loads and loads of room as it is now, without foam, when I put it on so you certainly do not have to worry that it will be too small. If you search “completed listings” you will see this model sells for big bucks! Please remember that it is about 40 years old so it will have imperfections so don’t expect it to be as new!
